Twice as many ATMs for Credit Union Members

Credit Union members will soon have access to more than double the number of Automatic Teller Machines throughout Australia, free from direct ATM charges.

Credit Union members currently have direct charge free access to the rediATM network, which is owned and operated by the Credit Union peak body, Cuscal.

The National Australia Bank (NAB) and Cuscal have now joined forces to create one of the largest ATM networks in Australia, providing approximately seven million Australians with dramatically improved access to ATM banking free of direct charges.

What does this mean for Credit Union members?

This means that in addition to rediATMs, credit union members will also be able to use NAB ATMs without paying direct charges.

The agreement will create a network of more than 3100 ATMs throughout the country.

The combined network will be available once regulatory approvals have been finalised, which is expected to take place in the next few months.
